What is an MVP and why €10.000?
Let's break it down. Within just one month and a fixed budget of €10,000, I'll strive to deliver a remarkable Minimum Viable Product (MVP). So, what exactly is an MVP? Allow me to explain. The Minimum Viable Product (MVP) is essentially the first solid version of a website or web app that we can proudly introduce to the world.
Picture this: It's already fast, scalable, secure, and of exceptional quality, but it doesn't possess all the bells and whistles just yet.
Now, you might be wondering, why €10,000? Well, it's a sweet spot for an MVP. It ensures a functional and robust version of the website that surpasses a simple weekend project but isn't overloaded with features.
I've come across projects with a budget of only €3,000, but unfortunately, the code often ended up being messy, lacking security, and of subpar quality. On the flip side, there have been projects with budgets of €50,000 or more that never saw the light of day. The constant addition of new features made the codebase bloated, making it increasingly challenging to fix the website and ultimately leading to a halt in development.
And why one month? Well, it strikes the perfect balance. This timeframe allows us to plan and develop an outstanding website without falling victim to feature bloat.
Some may attempt to launch within a week, but more often than not, those projects fail to provide significant value. On the other hand, waiting a year or longer to launch means missing valuable opportunities to collect feedback from customers. It's quite possible that 50% of the features aren't even necessary, but how would you know if no customer gets to test the product?
Process
Phase 1: discovery and roadmapping
During this initial consultation, we'll discuss your requirements, features, long-term goals, and conduct a thorough evaluation of your current situation. We'll identify what's working, what's missing, and any challenges you may be facing. Together, we'll plan the next steps, set long-term goals, and select the best tools to create your website or web app. This roadmap will ensure that we're always on the same page.
Phase 2: the “skateboard“
This phase focuses on iterative development. We'll code, design, and establish the necessary infrastructure. While adding design elements, our primary focus will be on functionality and user experience. Our goal is to ensure that everything works flawlessly. If needed, we can work on the designs simultaneously.

Phase 3: shaping the prototype
In this phase, we'll finalize the functional web app and incorporate the most important data, such as product information, imprint, and an about us section. We'll also polish the designs to create a visually appealing finished product.
Don't have content for your MVP? No problem! If you are not able to provide the content, there is the option for us to partner with the content team over at Bakklog, a renowned SEO agency, to help create SEO optimized content for your MVP.
Phase 4: testing and user feedback
Throughout the process, we continually test and gather feedback. In this phase, we dive deeper into testing, including usability testing, load testing (to ensure the website can handle high traffic), and performance testing. We make sure everything is running smoothly based on the given requirements and platform.
Phase 5: take-off 🚀
Congratulations! Everything is in place, and the website or web app looks fantastic. We integrate the feedback received and, depending on the project, use this phase to create more engaging content, advertisements, or optimize specific areas. Furthermore, we plan ahead for the upcoming months.
